Bowling Green’s Maya Dean had another solid week as the Falcons went 2-0 to move into third place in the league standings. Dean scored the lone goal of the match on Thursday against Miami, helping the Falcons keep a clean sheet in a 1-0 victory over the RedHawks. Then, on Sunday, Dean had a goal and an assist in a comprehensive 7-1 win on the road at Eastern Michigan. Dean played 63 minutes in that win, and was not on the field when EMU, trailing by six goals, got on the scoreboard in the 78th minute. On the season, Dean has 14 points including four goals and six assists. All 14 points have come in MAC play.

Tianna Harris, Kent State, Defender

Tianna Harris played all 180 minutes over the weekend as the Golden Flashes secured a pair of draws against Ball State (Oct. 20) and Central Michigan (Oct. 23). Harris anchored the Flashes' back line and helped the defense earn their fourth shutout of conference play against Ball State on Thursday, holding the conference's top scoring team to just one shot on goal. Against Central Michigan on Sunday, Harris scored the first brace of her collegiate career, sparking a late comeback effort to force a draw with the Chippewas. Harris is now tied for the team lead in goals on the season.
