Ohio's Berg, Ball State's Moser Earn Weekly Women's Soccer Accolades

MAC Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week
Regan Berg, Ohio, Forward   
Senior, Kalamazoo, Mich.      
Regan Berg was responsible for all 3 Ohio goals against EMU leading them to the 3-2 win on Sunday (Oct. 2). Regan Berg also became the 3rd Bobcat in history to have a hat-trick. The last time an Ohio women's soccer player scored 3 goals in one game was in 2003. The first goal from Berg was in response to the Bobcat's being down 1-0 in the first half against EMU; this goal was unassisted and came in the 20th minute of play. Berg's second goal was in minute 52 that landed in the bottom right of the net. Lastly, Regan Berg scored her third and final goal off a corner kick in the 88th minute of play with a tied 2-2 score and led the Bobcat's to victory. Berg also had 2 shots against Miami helping them win 2-0.
 
MAC Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week
Bethany Moser, Ball State, Goalkeeper        
Sophomore, Mason, Ohio (William Mason)
Bethany Moser was a key cog in the Cardinal defense as she helped secure a 2-0 record over the week. She made three saves in the BSU 4-1 victory over NIU. She recorded a clean sheet with one save against Bowling Green.
