CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced its 2020-21 Men’s and Women's Swimming and Diving Academic All-MAC team on Wednesday.
A total of 45 student-athletes were named to this year’s men's team and 128 were named to the women's team. Miami led the men's team with 12 athletes being named to the squad, while Akron lead the women with 20 team members honored.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
