CLEVELAND, Ohio – A total of 77 Mid-American Conference men’s swimming and diving student-athletes were named to the 2023-24 Men’s Swimming and Diving Academic All-MAC Team, as announced by the league office on Wednesday.
The Miami RedHawks led the way with 18 student-athletes on this year’s team. Ball State posted 14 honorees, while Missouri State had 13 selections. Valparaiso rounded out institutions with double-digit student-athletes represented with 11.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
