Martina Pavissich, Sophomore, Massachusetts
As the Minutewomen went 2-0 on the week, Martina Pavissich went 2-0 in singles action. At Syracuse, Pavissich clinched the 4-3 victory for UMass with a three-set victory, 5-7, 7-6(3), 7-6(5) at court No. 3. Her match-clinching point helped Massachusetts to its first-ever win over an ACC opponent. The sophomore picked up a point at No. 2 singles over Le Moyne on Sunday, winning 6-0, 6-2.
