MAC Boat of the Week
UMass V8
The V8 advanced to the petite final today surrounded by a very talented field of boats including fellow MAC member Temple, Cornell out of the IVY league, Northeastern, Bucknell and URI from our former conference. With a come from behind finish, UMass placed second just 1.4 seconds off Northeastern, ahead of Bucknell in 3rd, URI 4th, Cornell 5th and Temple 6th. This win marks the first MAC 8 to beat an Ivy league team (Cornell). The second-place finish also placed UMass ahead of URI who were the 2025 A-10 Champions.

Toledo 1V8+
Toledo is nominating our 1V8+ for MAC boat of the week. This week the Rockets raced 4x1k on the Ohio River facing Duquesne, West Virginia, Robert Morris, and Canisius. The 1V8 beat Robert Morris in one of the races with a crew of all novice rowers and coxswain.
