YPSILANTI, Mich. -- The inaugural Mid-American Conference Women’s Rowing Championship is set for Saturday, May 16, at Ford Lake in Ypsilanti, Michigan, with six programs competing for the league’s first-ever rowing title and an automatic bid to the NCAA Championship. The Championship will be streamed live on ESPN+.
Hosted by Eastern Michigan University, the championship field includes University of Massachusetts, University of Toledo, University of Delaware, Temple University, High Point University, and Eastern Michigan.
Racing begins at 9:02 a.m. ET and concludes with the marquee Women’s Varsity Eight (1V8+) Final at 10:02 a.m. ET. Teams will compete in five championship races: 2V4+, 3V8+, 1V4+, 2V8+, and 1V8+.
The league champion will earn the MAC’s automatic bid to the 2026 NCAA Division I Women’s Rowing Championship, scheduled for May 29-31 in Gainesville, Georgia.
