Women’s Tennis Names 39 to Academic All-MAC Team

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced on Monday the 39 student-athletes who have earned Academic All-MAC Team selection for the 2026 Women’s Tennis season.

Western Michigan has seven honorees from this year’s team, followed by Northern Illinois with six student-athletes, and five from Ball State, Buffalo, and MAC Champions Toledo.

Bowling Green’s Leticia Fonseca, UMass’s Renata Farima, and Western Michigan’s Lola Glantz each registered a 4.00 GPA.

The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests scheduled or completed in the particular sport. First-year students and ANY transfer students in their first year of residence are not eligible for the award. Outstanding academic and athletic accomplishments for the current season only are considered.
