The Scholar Athlete of the Week Award is presented to a MAC male and/or female student-athlete who has a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better and performs well during that week's competition. An institution can nominate up to one male and one female student-athlete per week in any of that current season's sports. The winners are selected by a representative of the MAC's Faculty Athletics Representatives (FARs).

Week’s Achievements (detailed description of week’s events): Hayden Wolff was nearly perfect throwing the football in WMU's come-from-behind win over Ball State. He finished 26-for-29 with an 89.7 completion percentage, 265 yards and three touchdown passes. Wolff's first TD pass of the game gave the Broncos a very early 14-0 lead. He then threw a 43-yard touchdown pass to open the third quarter, giving WMU a 28-21 lead. His third touchdown proved to be the game-winner, giving WMU a 45-35 lead in the eventual 45-42 win. He was named MAC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance.

Paupore made history by setting her own CMU women’s cross country 4k record with a 16:43.5 run at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational. The senior set her own record of 16:51.2 and placed 26th in the women’s blue 5K race, which included a stacked field of runners from three of the NCAA’s top-5 nationally ranked programs, Northern Arizona, BYU, and Notre Dame.
