The tournament field included eight programs - No. 9 North Carolina, No. 10 Vanderbilt, No. 18 Tennessee, No. 20 Charlotte, No. 27 Georgia, No. 34 Louisville, No. 37 Mississippi State, No. 41 South Carolina - that were ranked in the Top 50 of last year's Scoreboard Clipped final rankings.
