CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Mid-American Conference announced the 2026 Baseball Academic All-MAC Team on Monday, recognizing a total of 114 student-athletes for their outstanding achievements in both athletics and academics.
 
For the third straight year, Western Michigan led the Conference with 15 student-athletes earning a spot on the team. Kent State followed with 13 honorees, while four other institutions had at least 10 student-athletes represented.
 
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport. First-year students and any transfer in their first year of residence are not eligible for the award.
