Maria Luisa Oliveira, a member of the Miami University tennis team, has qualified for the W15 Brasilia Tournament in Brazil, Spain. The ITF event begins on June 2.

Oliveira had a breakout campaign in 2025-26 for the RedHawks. The sophomore competed at No. 1 singles all season long, posting a 12-11 record and 17 total wins.  She was the deciding match in the 4-3 win over UMass to earn a spot on the MAC All-Tournament Team and added 23 wins in doubles competition throughout the season.

In two years with the RedHawks, Oliveira has 71 combined wins.
