RedHawks Set For NCAA Regionals in Texas

OXFORD, Ohio -- The MAC champion Miami University golf team learned its NCAA regional destination this afternoon during the 2026 NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championship Selection Show on the Golf Channel. The RedHawks will open NCAA play in Bryan, Texas at the Traditions Club from May 18-20.

The top five teams and top individual from each region will qualify for a spot in the championship finals. 30 teams and six individuals in total will compete in the finals from May 29-June 3 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif.

Miami is making its first NCAA appearance since 2015 after claiming the Mid-American Conference title this week in Zionsville, Ind. with a score of 28 over par, good for a seven-stroke victory over runner-up Northern Illinois. All five RedHawks competing in the MAC Championships finished in the top 20, led by medalist Liam Nelson.
