BRYAN, Texas – The Miami RedHawks men's golf wrapped up a historic 2025-26 season Tuesday at the NCAA Bryan Regional, hosted by Texas A&M Aggies at Traditions Club. Miami finished 13th overall after posting rounds of 10-over par, one-under par, and nine-over par across the three-day event.
Leading the way for the RedHawks was Cameron Pero, who turned in the team’s best round of the tournament with a three-under-par 69 in the second round. Pero recorded five birdies with just two bogeys during the round and finished tied for 39th overall at two-over par with a 54-hole total of 218 (74-69-75).
Liam Nelson climbed 13 spots on the leaderboard after the opening round, finishing tied for 48th overall with a three-round total of 222 (77-73-72). Nelson carded six birdies over the final two rounds, including an even-par performance in Tuesday’s final round.
Brett Podobinski and Michael Weber each finished tied for 54th place at 224 overall. Podobinski posted rounds of 75-72-77, including an even-par second round, while Weber recorded scores of 73-73-78 during the tournament.
Tyler Anderson rounded out the Miami lineup with a 225 total (76-76-73) to finish tied for 60th. Anderson closed the regional with a one-over-par final round and played a bogey-free front nine during Tuesday’s action.
The regional appearance capped off one of the strongest seasons in program history for the RedHawks, who earned a spot in NCAA postseason play following an impressive 2025-26 campaign.
