Western Michigan Sweeps Men's Tennis Week 11 Honors

Ashton Adesoro, Junior, Western Michigan
Battling hard for the Broncos, Ashton Adesoro had to battle to three-set wins in both matches playing in the No. 1 position against both the Bulls and Rockets.

Coming from behind against Buffalo down a set, he battled back to win in three sets and clinch the win for the Broncos, 4-3, against the Bulls. Playing against Toledo two days later, Adesoro found himself in a similar situation against a great opponent in Hanamichi Carvajal. He split sets with the match on the line and came through with a hard-fought victory, securing the win for the Broncos, 4-3, over the Rockets.

Adesoro is currently 20-11 on the season, playing mainly in the 1 position for the Gold and Brown.

Doubles Team of the Week
Alex Antonopoulos and Oscar Corwin, Western Michigan
Playing in the No. 1 position for the Broncos, both Alex Antonopoulos and Oscar Corwin helped secure the doubles point against both Buffalo and Toledo. Both matches were vitally important in securing wins for the Broncos and helping Western secure hard-fought wins over both the Bulls and Rockets, 4-3.

Oscar and Alex are currently 18-4 on the season.
