MAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week
Noah Nyageo, Akron
Sophomore Noah Nyageo ran a personal-best 23:21.4 in the 8K at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational, finishing eighth in a field of more than 150
runners. Earlier this season, Nyageo won both the Tommy Evans Invitational and the George Dales Invitational. As a freshman, he finished third at the MAC Championships
and 28th at the NCAA Regionals.

MAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week
Mercy Jebitok, Akron
Sophomore Mercy Jebitok ran a career-best 15:53.5 in the 5K at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational, finishing fifth overall in a race that featured three top-15 teams, including No. 1 NC State. She was the top finisher from any non-Power 4 school and beat all but one NC State runner. Earlier this season, Jebitok earned MAC Runner of the Week honors after winning the George Dales Invitational in her season debut.
