MAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week
Joad Martinho, Toledo
Toledo senior Joad Martinho placed 10th at Indiana State's John McNichols Invitational, running 23:58.4 in the 8K against a field of 14 nationally-ranked teams, just six seconds off sixth place. His performance helped the Rockets finish 16th with 357 points, ahead of No. 23 Air Force and No. 26 Louisville and just four points behind No. 20 Georgia.

MAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week
Mercy Jebitok, Akron
Akron junior Mercy Jebitok picked up right where she left off in her season debut, winning the George Dales Invitational with a personal-best 19:52.1 and leading the Zips to a team victory. Last season she was runner-up at the MAC Championships, placed sixth at NCAA Regionals and competed at the NCAA Championships.
