• Bowling Green scored 38 unanswered points to defeat Sacramento State, 38-10, earning its second straight victory and improving to 2-0 in MAC play for the first time since 2015. After Sacramento State took a 3-0 lead, Austyn Dendy sparked the turnaround with two rushing touchdowns, including a 30-yard score in the third quarter. The Falcons’ defense added a touchdown when Dorian Pringle forced a fumble that D’Kyah Banks returned 27 yards for a score.

• Eastern Michigan improved to 3-0 in MAC play for the first time since 1995 with a hard-fought 25-23 road victory over Akron. After the Zips reclaimed the lead, 23-22, with 6:27 remaining, the Eagles answered with an 11-play drive capped by Rudy Kessinger’s 48-yard field goal with 1:50 left. Kessinger connected on four field goals, while Joshua Long recorded a career-high 114 receiving yards on nine catches.

• Western Michigan rolled to a 38-7 homecoming victory over Kent State, improving to 2-0 in MAC play. Broc Lowry accounted for four touchdowns, throwing for 257 yards and three scores while adding a rushing touchdown as the Broncos built a 21-7 halftime lead. WMU totaled a season-high 466 yards of offense, while its defense held the Golden Flashes scoreless in the second half and limited them to 75 rushing yards.

• Buffalo handed Toledo its first home loss since 2024 with a 23-8 victory at the Glass Bowl, snapping the Rockets’ nine-game home winning streak. The Bulls held Toledo scoreless through three quarters and limited the MAC’s top offense to 308 total yards, including just 105 on the ground. After Toledo cut the deficit to 16-8 late in the fourth quarter, Messiah Burch broke free for an 87-yard touchdown on Buffalo’s next play to seal the win. Burch finished with 137 rushing yards for his third consecutive 100-yard game.

• Ohio built a 31-0 halftime lead and cruised to a 31-14 homecoming victory over Central Michigan, extending its home winning streak to 16 games. Nick Poulos threw three first-half touchdown passes, including a 44-yard strike to Dom Dorwart in the final minute of the second quarter. The Bobcats totaled 403 yards of offense, while Michael Molnar recorded two sacks and a forced fumble to help Ohio improve to 2-0 in MAC play.

• Miami held off a late UMass rally to earn a 20-19 road victory and its first MAC win of the season. After the Minutemen scored a touchdown with one second remaining to pull within one, linebacker Malcolm McCain stopped the two-point conversion attempt to preserve the win. Kellan McLaughlin connected on field goals of 27 and 47 yards in the second half, while the RedHawks held UMass to just 65 rushing yards.
