Miami Tennis plays in the Indiana Invitational Friday - Sunday.

Eastern Michigan Eagles
The fall season continues this weekend for the Eastern Michigan University tennis program with the Eagles heading north to East Lansing, Mich., for the Spartan Invitational, Oct. 2-4, a three-day event hosted by Michigan State. The event, held at the MSU Indoor Tennis Center, will feature singles and doubles brackets with entrants from EMU, MSU, DePaul, Marquette, Northwestern, and Western Michigan.

The Spartan Invitational will see matches played over three days, Oct. 2-4, at the MSU Indoor Tennis Center, with matches also set to be played on the surrounding outdoor courts (weather permitting). Players will compete in singles all three days with matches slated to start at 9 a.m. daily while doubles matches will be played only on the first two days.
 
The draw sheets for the Spartan Invitational were released Oct. 1 All eight Eagles will compete in both singles and doubles action, with the five singles flights seeing Maria Batinic playing in Flight A, Valentina Salek in Flight B, Pehal Kharadkar and Sabrina Tolstova in Flight C, Lara Diaz Zayas and Matilde Parreira in Flight D, and Iva Daneva and Kseniia Saenko in Flight E. Eastern will have four doubles teams competing in the lone draw, with the pairs featuring Daneva and Parreira, Diaz Zayas and Saenko, Batinic and Kharadkar, and Salek and Tolstova.
 
SIX teams comprise the field at the Spartan Invitational with Mid-American, Big East, and Big Ten conferences represented. Both Eastern Michigan and Western Michigan will be on hand to represent the MAC while fellow Big Ten team Northwestern will join host Michigan State. The three teams from the Big East will include DePaul and Marquette.

Toledo Rockets 
Women's Tennis continues fall competition at home with the Rocket Invitational on Friday-Saturday at the UT Varsity Tennis Courts. The Rockets will compete against Bowling Green, Dayton and Youngstown State in singles and doubles play. In the first fall action of the season last weekend, UT amassed a 25-5 overall record and was led by Gaby Rondon who had a perfect 6-0 record through singles and doubles play.

Bowling Green Falcons
The Bowling Green State University tennis team continues their fall season this weekend, making the short trip north for the Rocket Invitational. The four-team event will take place on Friday and Saturday (Oct. 2-3) at the UT Varsity Tennis Courts.

In the event of inclement weather, matches would move to Twos Athletic Club.

The event, hosted by Toledo, will also include Dayton and Youngstown State, in addition to the Falcons. The action will start at 10 a.m. each day, with teams facing each of the other three schools in both singles and doubles play over the course of two days.

Following the Rocket Invitational, members of the Falcons will head to Cincinnati for the ITA Regionals from Oct. 8-13. Then, BGSU will participate in the Fall MAC Individual Championships in Kalamazoo, Mich., on Oct. 23-25, before heading to DeKalb, Ill., to conclude the fall schedule at the NIU Huskie Indoor Invitational (Oct. 30-Nov. 1).
