CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Mid-American Conference announced Thursday afternoon the 2025 Field Hockey Academic All-MAC Team. A total of 105 student-athletes were named to this year’s squad.
Kent State and Massachusetts led the way with 13 student-athletes apiece, while App State, Bellarmine, and Central Michigan were all next in line with 11. Ball State, Miami, and Ohio each had 10 honorees, while James Madison showed 9 student-athletes.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
