MAC Field Hockey Co-Offensive Player of the Week
Mora Rulli, Sophomore, Forward, Central Michigan

Sophomore forward Mora Rulli led the Chippewas to a weekend sweep over Mercyhurst (W, 9-0) and Saint Louis (W, 3-2). Over the weekend, Rulli logged five goals and one assist for 11 total points in two games. Rulli grabbed four goals in the 9-0 win over Mercyhurst, leading the Chippewas offense in their largest margin of victory since 1997, and scoring the most goals by an individual in a single game since at least 2018. Rulli then went on to add her fifth goal of the weekend against Saint Louis early in the second half, clearing the way to a 3-2 win.

Niamh McKenzie, Graduate Student, Forward, Massachusetts

Niamh McKenzie posted a tremendous weekend, having a hand in four goals in UMass' 2-0 showing. In Friday's win at No. 3 Harvard, McKenzie made a strong move near the top of the circle to give herself some space, as she found Jenna Herbster for what proved to be the game-winning goal. UMass handed Harvard its first loss of any kind against a nonconference opponent since 2024, when the Minutewomen defeated the Crimson in the NCAA Tournament National Quarterfinals. McKenzie then had two goals and an assist for a career high five points in Sunday's 6-0 win against New Hampshire. The UMass forward registered a goal in the first quarter and an assist in the third before scoring again in the final period. She now has two multi-goal games in her first six contests at UMass, sitting at second on the team in goals (5) and points (14) this season. McKenzie’s performances helped the Minutewomen beat a pair of teams who advanced to the NCAA Tournament last season, including Final Four participant Harvard, and America East regular season and tournament champion New Hampshire.

Megan Carpenter, Senior, Defender, Massachusetts

Carpenter was the anchor of a back line that allowed just seven shots on goal for the week over two games. On Friday at No. 3 Harvard, the Minutewomen allowed just three shots on goal to the nation’s third-ranked team, and just one over the game’s final 52:47. The Crimson took a 1-0 lead at the 7:13 mark and would have just one shot on goal the rest of the way. On Sunday against New Hampshire, UMass did not allow a single shot until the final 15 seconds of the third quarter, allowing just four shots for the game. The Minutewomen now have more goals (27) than they’ve allowed shots on goal (22) on the season. Carpenter also had three assists over the weekend, setting up the game-tying goal against Harvard in the third quarter before adding two more helpers on Sunday against New Hampshire. Carpenter’s efforts helped the Minutewomen beat a pair of teams who advanced to the NCAA Tournament last season, including Final Four participant Harvard, and America East regular season and tournament champion New Hampshire.

Rozárie Mrázová, Graduate Student, Massachusetts

Mrázová was sensational between the pipes, stopping six of seven shots her way to a 2-0 weekend. On Friday at No. 3 Harvard, she made two saves, including a big stop early in the first quarter and a save in the fourth to hold the third-ranked Crimson to just one goal. She went on to make a season-high four saves against New Hampshire Sunday to finish off her first shutout as a member of the Minutewomen. On the season, Mrázová owns a 1.00 goals against average and 70.6 save percentage. Rozárie’s play helped UMass beat a pair of teams who advanced to the NCAA Tournament last season, including Final Four participant Harvard, and reigning America East regular season/tournament champion New Hampshire.
