The Broncos rushed for a season-high 361 yards with Jalen Buckley (133), Devin Miles (105) and Broc Lowry (100) all reaching the century mark. • Ohio took down UMass, 42-14, to close out the regular season with an undefeated 6-0 record at home. The Ohio rushing attack accumulated 363 ground yards and six touchdowns, led by Sieh Bangura, who posted a career-high 196 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Duncan Brune added 84 yards and two touchdowns and Parker Navarro rushed for 81 and two touchdowns. • Matthew Schramm went a perfect 4-of-4 on field goals and Jordan Gant eclipsed 1,000 yards on the season to help Akron take down Bowling Green, 19-16. Gant capped his first season as a Zip with 86 yards on the ground, becoming Akron’s first 1,000-yard rusher since 2008. • Thomas Gotkowski came off the bench to throw for 185 yards to lift Miami to a crucial 37-20 road win at Buffalo. Gotkowski threw for a touchdown and ran for another as the RedHawks became bowl-eligible for the ninth time in the last 10 seasons and kept their MAC title hopes alive heading into the final week of the regular season. • Joe Labas threw two touchdown passes and Brock Townsend ran for two scores as Central Michigan posted a 28-16 victory over Kent State. The win was CMU’s fourth in its last five games as the Chippewas improved to 7-4 and 5-2 in MAC play. It marks CMU’s highest win total since it finished 9-4 in 2021 and keeps alive its hopes for a berth in the MAC Championship Game. • Tucker Gleason threw for four touchdowns and the Toledo defense shut down the Ball State offense in a 38-9 victory at the Glass Bowl on Saturday. Toledo’s defense held Ball State to 308 yards of total offense and forced three turnovers on its way to a record-setting day. The Rocket defense racked up a school-record 17 tackles for loss and tied the program record with seven sacks.
