The Scholar Athlete of the Week Award is presented to a MAC male and/or female student-athlete who has a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better and performs well during that week's competition. An institution can nominate up to one male and one female student-athlete per week in any of that current season's sports. The winners are selected by a representative of the MAC's Faculty Athletics Representatives (FARs).

Week’s Achievements (detailed description of week’s events): Nicole Aguilar was instrumental in the Bulls 213-85 win over Niagara on Saturday, helping the team with three event wins. The senior was a member of the Bulls’ winning 200-yard medley relay team (1:44.35) to open the meet, followed by event wins in the 100-yard butterfly (56.50) and the 50-yard butterfly (25.53). Aguilar is a senior Biomedical Sciences major with a 4.0 grade point average.

Week’s Achievements (detailed description of week’s events): Senior Tucker Gleason led Toledo to a 45-10 victory over Kent State on Saturday. Gleason completed 21-of-28 passes for 294 yards and a career-high four touchdowns to four different receivers vs. the Golden Flashes. He now has 48 career TD passes, moving past Chuck Ealey (45 from 1969-71) and Aaron Opelt (46 from 2006-09) for sixth place all-time among Toledo signal-callers. Gleason's 294 passing yards gives him 5,627 for his career, moving him past Tavares Bolden (5,417 from 1999-2001) and Chris Wallace (5,454 from 1995-98) for ninth on UT's all-time list.
