Two-Minute Drill
• Bowling Green rallied from a three-touchdown deficit, scoring 28 unanswered points en route to a 28-23 win over Toledo in the Battle of I-75. Cameron Pettaway notched a career-high 118 receiving yards to go with a career-high two receiving touchdowns.
• Miami downed Akron, 20-7, for its third-straight victory. Dequan Finn threw for 203 yards and added 65 on the ground for the RedHawks, while Miami’s defense forced one turnover, registered 3.0 sacks and held the Zips to 273 yards of total offense.
• Eastern Michigan secured a hard-fought 16-10 home win over visiting Northern Illinois behind stout defense and another strong running performance from Dontae McMillan. Rudy Kessinger tied a career high with three field goals and also added one extra point to give him 10 points in the game.
• Kent State defeated UMass, 42-6, for its first MAC conference win since 2022. With the convincing performance, the Flashes improved to 2-4 overall and 1-1 in MAC play.
• Western Michigan posted its fourth-straight win, blanking Ball State, 42-0. The shutout victory helped the Broncos improve to 3-0 in conference play as the WMU defense recorded its first shutout of a MAC opponent since 2016.
