Co-Offensive Player of the Week

Akron freshman Sienna Hinchcliffe turned in a strong week for the Zips registering four goals, three assists on the strength of eight shots, including six on goal in a pair of contests. She also tallied three ground balls and a trio of caused turnovers. Hinchcliffe tallied a goal and a team-high three assists on the strength of three shots to go along with three ground balls and a pair of caused turnovers. She helped orchestrate Akron's comeback from a 10-4 third-quarter deficit in an 11-10 win at Xavier by scoring all three of her goals in the final period. She netted the equalizer with 3:18 remaining in regulation to knot the contest at 10 before converting a successful free position shot with 24 seconds remaining to give Akron a come-from-behind road victory. All five of her shots against the Musketeers were on goal.
 
Co-Offensive Player of the Week
Jackie Wolford, Kent State, Attack

Jackie Wolford was a key player on offense for the Flashes this weekend. Matching her season high, Wolford recorded five goals against Lindenwood on Friday. On Sunday, she also secured her fourth hat trick of the season against Cincinnati and recorded one assist. For the weekend, Wolford tallied nine points, eight goals, and 12 shots on goal. She is ranked No. 1 in the MAC for shots per game (45) and places second for goals (17).
 
Defensive Player of the Week
Alexa Martel, Central Michigan, Goalkeeper
Junior, Rochester, N.Y. Greece Olympia)
 
Martel posted a gem performance against No. 19 Colorado with 17 saves (t-3rd in program history, one shy of her own program record of 18), keeping the Buffaloes well-within reach of the Chippewas into the fourth quarter. Against No. 3 Northwestern, Martle posted six of her eight saves in the first quarter. She currently sits second all-time with 282 career saves.
