MAC Baseball Player of the Week

Ryland Zaborowski helped lead Miami to a sweep against Oakland this weekend, crushing three home runs and amassing nine hits during the three game series. Additionally, he was responsible for nine RBIs and two doubles and went 9-for-14 (.643). Zaborowski went 4-for-6 in game one, 2-for-4 in game two, and 3-for-4 in game three, and two of his three home runs came in game one, which Miami won 21-7.
 
MAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week
Sean Perkins, Akron, RHP,
Jr., Cambridge, Ohio (Cambridge)
Coming in down 2-1 against Duke in the second game of the series, Sean Perkins pitched five innings of near-spotless baseball as the Zips defeated the No. 10/12 Blue Devils 4-2 on March 2.  Throwing the final five innings, Perkins held his own with just two hits allowed along with one run and striking out two. He held Duke's hitters to a combined.118 batting average over the five innings of work.
