MAC Baseball Player of the Week
Mike McNamara, Kent State, SS

McNamara raked in the three games of the WMU series that he played in, all Kent State wins. He had a pair of four-hit games and drove in six as part of a two-homer game in Friday's win. He backed that up by going 4-4 in the game one win of Saturday's double header, then drove in three more in the night cap of Saturday's twin bill. His outburst raised his average nearly 30 points and is now hitting .343 on the season.
 
MAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week
Zach Maxey, Miami, Pitcher 
Sophomore, Avon, Ohio (St. Edward)          
Zach Maxey threw a complete-game shutout for the RedHawks in a 4-0 win at Akron Saturday. Maxey allowed three hits with nine strikeouts and no walks in a career-high nine innings on the mound as Miami blanked the hosts in the third game of an eventual four-game weekend sweep. Maxey improved his season record to 4-2 and earned his third win in his last four appearances.
