MAC Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week
Audrey Whiteside, Central Michigan, Midfielder               
Central Michigan won their fourth consecutive Mid-American Conference match with a 14-10 victory at the Kent State Golden Flashes. The offensive powerhouse that is the Chippewas front line was led by junior midfielder, Audrey Whiteside, who scored 3 goals in the contest. Whiteside, who has scored in 3 of the last 4 victories for CMU, also tallied 2 assists, 2 ground balls, and 2 draw controls in the victory for the Chippewas. The 5-point game marked the seventh time this season the East Grand Rapids native has posted five or more points in a game. Along with being one of the top scorers for the Maroon and Gold, Whiteside has been extraordinary at distributing the ball and shepherding the Chippewas Offense.
 
MAC Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week
Taylor Monturo, Kent State, Goalkeeper               
Monturo had 16 saves and a .533 save percentage in Kent State's game against Central Michigan. This came on 32 shots faced in a game in which Monturo played all 60 minutes for the Golden Flashes.
 

Other Defensive Nominees
Hannah Sanders, Akron, Goalkeeper
Akron freshman goalkeeper Hannah Sanders was solid in net for the Zips registering a career-high 13 saves in her first career start. She recorded a .520 save percentage in the match with fives saves in both the second and fourth quarters. On the season, she owns an 11.28 GAA with 37 saves. 
 
Alexa Martel, Central Michigan, Goalkeeper       
Freshmen goalie Alexa Martel has worked her way into the starting line-up for CMU and led CMU to a victory at Kent State a career-high 8 saves. Facing 23 shots in the Kent State win, she charted a .444 save percentage on the day. Along with protecting the goal, Martel caused 3 turnovers and fielded 4 ground balls for the Chippewas. Both of those marks were new career highs. 
 
Madison Griffin, Robert Morris, Defender            
Griffin was instrumental in helping RMU hold Akron to just four goals on the afternoon, a season low for the Colonials. The graduate caused four turnovers, scooped three ground balls and grabbed two draws as RMU moved to 8-0 in MAC play. 
 
Savannah Clarke, Youngstown State, Goalie        
Savannah Clarke steadied the Penguins’ second-half comeback victory against Mid-American Conference foe Detroit Mercy on April 16, making a game-high 16 saves across 25 Titans’ shots, and picking-up five ground balls during a 60-plus minute performance when the contest extended into overtime. Clarke logged a .445 save percentage on the afternoon. 
 
Other Offensive Nominees
Ali Korin, Youngstown State, Midfield    
Ali Korin was instrumental in fueling the Penguins’ second-half comeback victory over Mid-American Conference opponent Detroit Mercy on April 16 at Seaholm High School. Korin led all scorers with a three-goal, third-quarter performance, while also tabbing a game-high mark for points (3) across five shots-on-goal.
