MAC Baseball Player of the Week
Danny Wuestenfeld, Central Michigan, First Base  
Sophomore, Plainfield, Ill./Joliet Catholic   
Wuestenfeld helped CMU sweep the weekend series against NIU by batting .600 and slugging 1.100 while driving in 10 runs over the four games. The sophomore first baseman tallied a pair of doubles and had a three-run home run in game 2 of the series. Wuestenfeld was also 3-3 in the series finale and drove in a pair of runs while he drove in three runs in the third game.
 
MAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week
Garrett Navarra, Central Michigan, LHP      
Junior, Sterling Heights, Mich. (Stevenson) 
Navarra threw a complete-game, seven-inning, two-hitter, striking out eight and walking one as CMU won 12-0. His eight strikeouts were a season high and after surrendering a one-out single in the second inning, he set down 12 of the next 13 batters he faced. The lone blemish was a one-out walk in the fifth.
