Matthew Rivera, Ball State, C/DH

Matthew Rivera led the Cardinals with a .615 batting average and posted a 1.308 slugging percentage. He tied for the team lead with two home runs. He drove in 11 RBIs and led the squad with 17 total bases for the weekend. He was walked a team-high six times. He hit two home runs in the third game of the series, which included a grand slam. He also drew a walk-off walk in the third game of the series as the run-rule was put in effect.
AJ Rausch, Ohio, OF
R-Freshman, Powell, Ohio (Olentangy Liberty)
Freshman AJ Rausch was instrumental in the Bobcats' 4-1 week, going 9-for-17 with three doubles, three home runs and a 1.235 slugging percentage. Rausch hit his first collegiate home run against Kent State on Friday (March 18), giving Ohio a four-run lead in the fourth inning. Later that game, he concluded a 12-pitch at bat with an inside the park home run. On Sunday (March 20), Ohio and Kent State were tied 7-7 in the bottom of the eighth when Rausch produced the go-ahead run with a solo home run, marking his third of the week and putting Ohio in the lead for the first time that game.

Jordan Patty, Central Michigan, RHP

Patty threw eight shutout innings, allowing just three hits, in CMU's series-opening 2-0 victory at Miami (Ohio). Patty tallied eight strikeouts and just one walk in the win.
