CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference celebrated another successful year of giving back as the Fourth Annual MAC Golf Outing, presented by Hotel Cleveland and Metropolitan at The 9, brought together a record number of golfers, sponsors and supporters for the most successful event in the outing's four-year history.
Held Monday, July 6th at Little Mountain Country Club in Painesville, Ohio, the annual outing welcomed 124 golfers (31 foursomes) while continuing to strengthen the Conference's commitment to serving communities throughout Northeast Ohio and beyond.
One of the event's most meaningful outcomes will be its impact beyond the golf course. Through the Mid-American Conference's Anne's Pantry initiative, a portion of the proceeds from this year's outing will support the Hunger Network, helping provide more than 6,000 meals to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity across Northeast Ohio.
Launched during the 2026 MAC Basketball Tournament in memory of Anne Steinbrecher, Anne's Pantry serves as the Mid-American Conference's community initiative dedicated to addressing food insecurity throughout Northeast Ohio and beyond. Through partnerships with organizations like the Hunger Network and community-wide food and fundraising efforts at MAC championship events, Anne's Pantry continues to expand its impact while advancing the Conference's commitment to serving those in need.
