MAC Announces Outdoor Track & Field Student-Athletes of the Week

MEN’S TRACK
Riley Cole, Massachusetts – Massachusetts senior Riley Cole delivered a standout performance in the 3,000m steeplechase at the Penn Relays, placing sixth with a time of 8:46.92. His mark leads the MAC this season and ranks among the top times in the NCAA East Region while also moving him to third all-time in program history.
MEN’S FIELD
Amare Hall, Kent State – Kent State senior Amare Hall posted a MAC-leading mark of 7.77m (25-6) in the long jump at the Jim Freeman/Clark Wood Invitational, finishing third overall. His personal-best performance ranks 25th in the NCAA and second in program history.
WOMEN’S TRACK 
Amryne Chilton, Kent State – Kent State junior Amryne Chilton won the 200m at the Jim Freeman/Clark Wood Invitational in 23.06, setting a program record. Her time leads the MAC and ranks 48th nationally, and she also contributed to a program-record 4x400 relay (3:34.75).
WOMEN’S FIELD
Mariah Taylor, Eastern Michigan – Eastern Michigan sophomore Mariah Taylor broke the program record in the triple jump with a mark of 12.92m (42-4.75) at the Jim Freeman/Clark Wood Invitational. Her jump leads the MAC and ranks 45th in the NCAA.
