Charlie Box captured a share of his second tournament title this season and the seventh of his career as he powered his way home with birdies over his final three holes to climb into a share of medalist honors at the inaugural Muirfield Shootout while helping Eastern finish tied for second as a team. Box, who shot 3-under 141 (70-71=141), posted the fifth-best two-round score in program history while becoming only the fourth member of the program to capture multiple tournament titles for the Eagles in the same season and first since the 2006-07 season when Graham Hill won the FirstEnergy Intercollegiate one week before claiming the 2007 MAC Championship. Box, who entered the day ranked No. 320 in the collegiate rankings, finished ahead of five higher-ranked opponents in the field. He finished the tournament with 10 birdies, tying for the most in the field, while standing as the only player to break par (-1) on Par 3s.

Liam Nelson captured his 2nd win of the season at the Muirfield Shootout. He led his team to a tied for second finish in a field of multiple top 100 programs. Liam made a total of 9 birdies and had the lowest round in the afternoon.

Darcy went out and shot a 69 on the second 18 of the Muirfield Shootout, which was hosted by Miami (OH) and played against five other Mid-American Conference schools. Darcy's 3-under-par was one of three rounds played at that score and the lowest of the second round. In his second round, Darcy jumped 21 spots, marking the eighth-best performance jump between the opening nine and the second nine. Darcy shot five birdies and two bogeys in that second 18, and had eight birdies across the day. The fourth-place finish was his best of his career and his third top ten of his career. The even par round was his fourth-best to-par performance of his career, following up a 1-under at the Robert Kepler Invitational a week ago.

Conner McCall posted his fourth top-25 finish of the season this weekend at the Hoosier Collegiate. The sophomore tied for 22nd with a 54-hole score of 223. He had the Huskies' low round of the tournament in Saturday's opening round with an even par 71, his 14th round of even par or lower this season.

Senior Nathaniel Gray Lamont led the Bobcats at this week's Muirfield Shootout, shooting rounds of 73 and 74 to finish with a total score of 147 (+3), good for a tie for 18th in the 81-player field. This marks Gray Lamont's second top-20 of the spring, and third top-25 in the same span. He carded six birdies in the first round and three in the second round at the par-72 layout.

Sophomore Bence Bertenyi registered the best finish of his career for the Rockets by tying for sixth place at Indiana's Hoosier Collegiate on Sunday. Bertenyi carded a season-best best four-under 67 and was one of just three individuals to shoot 67 or lower during the tournament and finished with a four-over par 217. He registered a team-high seven birdies and finished ahead of three individuals ranked in the Top 100 of the Clippd rankings.
