Senior Bence Kotel tied for 25th place to lead the Toledo men's golf team to an eighth-place showing at Stetson's Sam Ryder Intercollegiate on Monday and Tuesday. Kotel finished at five-over after shooting an even-par 72 in the final round.

Central Michigan's Philippe Yturralde finished with a 4-under 217 and a T22 finish in helping lead the Chippewas to a ninth-place finish among 15 teams at TPC Houston. Yturralde’s second-round even-par 71 tied with Aydan Downer for the best score of the tournament by a Chippewa. Yturralde and Downer led the Chippewas to to a final-round 291, which was the second-lowest team score of the day, as CMU moved from a T11 at the start of the day to a ninth-place finish. The field comprised 83 players.

Central Michigan's Aydan Downer posted two even-par rounds en route to a 4-over finish and a T22 at TPC Houston. A sophomore playing in his third event with the Chippewas, Downer's twin 71s were the lowest rounds posted by a CMU golfer in the event (teammate Philippe Yturralde also posted a 71, in the second round). Downer helped lead the Chippewas to a final-round 291, which was the second-lowest team score of the day, as CMU moved from a T11 at the start of the day to a ninth-place finish.
