MEN’S TRACK WINNER
AJ Jordan, Akron – Akron junior AJ Jordan captured four victories at the Bob Davidson Team Challenge, including winning the men’s 100m (10.50) and 200m (20.77). His effort in the 200m is rated No. 18 in the NCAA this season and ranks first in the Mid-American Conference. Additionally, he ran the second leg on the winning 4x100 (40.02) and 4x400 (3:08.94) relay teams, which posted the No. 17 and No. 11 marks in the NCAA this season, respectively. All four of his performances currently lead the MAC this season.
MEN’S FIELD WINNER
Lane Graham, Akron – Akron redshirt senior Lane Graham recorded a career-best throw of 210-0 (64.02m) to win the men’s hammer at the Bob Davidson Team Challenge. His mark ranks No. 4 in program history and currently stands No. 1 in the MAC and No. 17 in the NCAA this season.
WOMEN’S TRACK WINNER
Jackline Nanjala, Akron – Akron freshman Jackline Nanjala posted the No. 2 time in outdoor program history while winning the women’s 400 meters at the Bob Davidson Team Challenge in 53.34. Her performance ranks No. 16 in the NCAA this season, No. 10 in the East Region and first in the Mid-American Conference. She also ran the anchor leg on the winning 4x400 relay (3:39.14), which finished just 0.04 seconds shy of the school record and ranks No. 10 nationally this season.
WOMEN’S FIELD WINNER
Brook Boes, Akron – Akron redshirt senior Brook Boes posted the No. 5 mark in outdoor program history in the women’s shot put with a career-best throw of 50-4.50 (15.35m) to finish second at the Bob Davidson Team Challenge. Her mark ranks No. 26 in the NCAA and first in the MAC this season. She also placed second in the discus with a throw of 161-11 (49.37m), which ranks No. 44 nationally.
