Singles Player of the Week
Cylova Zuleyka Hukmasabiyya, Freshman, Eastern Michigan
The true freshman had a solid week for the Eagles as she was 2-0 at No. 1 with a pair of straight-set victories. She opened the weekend with a 6-4, 6-1 win at Bowling Green over junior Tia Clemens before capping the weekend with a 6-3, 7-5 defeat of JJ Scholten of Toledo, the reigning MAC Freshman of the Year. Zuleyka Hukmasabiyya is now 3-1 in MAC play and leads the team with 14 wins after helping the Eagles defeat Toledo, 6-1, for their first conference win of the season and back-to-back home wins over the Rockets for the first time since 2004.

Doubles Team of the Week
Ayana Yaguchi/Lola Glantz, Western Michigan
Ayana Yaguchi and Lola Glantz helped the Broncos secure the doubles point in their win at NIU. The duo were slotted at No. 1 and picked up a 6-0 win over Nataly Ninova and Malika Kabdesh. The pair improved to 10-1 on the season, 6-0 in dual matches and 2-0 in MAC play.
