Singles Player of the Week
Nikola Puntaric, Sophomore, Northern Illinois
Nikola went 4-0 at No.1 singles and No.1 doubles this weekend. Puntaric won 6-2, 6-1 from the top court against Yurii Hoida to set up the Huskies to close the door on Chicago State. The following afternoon, Puntaric recorded his second win at No. 1 this weekend with a 6-1, 6-0 victory against Lucas Willett of Grinnell College. 

Doubles Team of the Week
Andrew Hayward/ Jacks Lancaster, Ball State
Andrew Hayward and Jacks Lancaster provided the deciding spark in doubles play against the University of Pacific. With the doubles point hanging in the balance at 1-1, the duo "slammed the door shut" with a gritty 7-5 victory over Jonty Giesen and Terence Das at the No. 1 position, securing the opening point for the Cardinals. To close out the spring break trip in La Jolla, the pair helped anchor a complete doubles sweep against Villanova. Their veteran leadership at the top of the lineup set the tone for Ball State’s convincing 6-1 team victory.
