Luciana Alvarado-Reid placed third on floor (9.875) in Central Michigan’s quad meet at Iowa with SEMO and NIU. She also scored a 9.825 on bars, a 9.775 on vault and a 9.775 on beam to total a 39.250 all-around score for third place. Alvarado-Reid currently ranks first in the MAC on floor and in the all-around—nationally, she sits 25th in the all-around.

Junior Ashley Szymanski tied for event wins on bars (9.900) and beam (9.875) to help the Cardinals score a season-high 195.975 at Saturday's Maryland Quad. On bars, it was her sixth event win of the season and fifth time this season she has scored at least a 9.900. It was also her sixth win of the season on beam, and her fourth score of 9.875-or-higher on the apparatus.
