Freshman Pedro Garcia secured his first collegiate victory at the Babygrande Donald Ross Collegiate. After finishing the event at 6-under par, Garcia prevailed in a three-way playoff with a birdie on the 18th hole at Mid Pines Golf Club. A front runner from start to finish, Garcia was inside the top 10 in par 3, 4, and 5 scoring for the week while also finishing second in birdies with 15.

Score: 72-74-72 = 218            
Senior Nathaniel Gray Lamont (Guelph, Ontario) once again led the way for the Bobcats, firing rounds of 72, 74, and 72 across the three day tournament for a total of 218, finishing two over par. Lamont’s +2 score was good for a T-22 finish in the nearly 100 player field at Mid-Pines. Gray Lamont’s even par 72 in Wednesday’s third and final round shot him 14 spots up the individual leaderboard into a tie for 22nd in the 100 player field.
