CLEVELAND - Delrecco Gillespie posted game highs with 27 points and eight rebounds to lift the third-seeded Kent State Golden Flashes to an 86-75 victory over the sixth-seeded Ohio Bobcats in the 2026 MAC Men's Basketball Tournament on Thursday night at Rocket Arena. 

In addition to Gillespie, Morgan Safford chipped in 24 points and six rebounds. 

The Golden Flashes return to the hardwood tomorrow evening against No. 2 Akron on CBS Sports Network in the final semifinal matchup of the tournament.
