Ball State S&D Set for CSCAA National Invitational Championships
MUNCIE, Ind. –
Members of the men's and women's swimming and diving teams are set to travel to Ocala, Florida, for the 2026 CSCAA National Invitational Championships at the FAST (Florida Aquatics Swimming and Training) Facility. The three-day meet runs March 12-14, with prelims starting at 9:30 a.m. each day and finals at 6 p.m.

Members of the men's squad who will compete during the week include Aidan BiddleAJ FriendGeorge PattersonWilliam RachesIke RuszkowskiMalcolm Slater and Henry Ko

Buffalo Sends 10 Swimmers to CSCAA National Invitational Championships
BUFFALO, NY –
The University at Buffalo swimming and diving program is set to compete at the 2026 National Invitational Championship, hosted in Ocala, Florida, by the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America. 10 Bulls are scheduled to make the trip, representing the program at the national competition from Thursday, March 12th, through Saturday, March 14th.

The 10 Buffalo swimmers competing are Nicole AguilarAlex BulatBella ForsmanAmanda JurgelonElise McCaulKamilla NemesAva PaulyGrace RiderJillian Strine and Hattie Wasmuth. The travel group features two seniors, three juniors, two sophomores, and three freshmen.

The Bulls return to action in the swimming pool following the Mid-American Conference Championships, where they placed fifth of nine teams. Forsman and Nemes were named All-MAC Second Team following conference championships.

Forsman helped the Bulls to earn a silver medal in the 800-yard freestyle relay on the opening night of MAC Championships, followed by three finals appearances and two top-five finishes. Nemes earned a silver medal in the 400-yard individual medley (4:18.48) and placed sixth in the 200-yard butterfly finals (2:00.52) in her debut at conference championships.

Seven of the 10 Bulls competing at the National Invitational Championship posted personal record times at MAC Championships that joined the program's all-time top 10. The team also added three new relay times to the all-time ranks, posting season-best times in the 200-yard medley relay (10th, 1:39.36), 400-yard medley relay (8th, 3:39.33) and 800-yard freestyle relay (10th, 7:15.70).


Eastern Michigan Swimmers Ready for CSCAA National Invitational Championships

– Eastern Michigan University swimmers are set to compete at the 2026 College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) National Invitational Championships at the F.A.S.T. Facility in Ocala, Fla., Thursday-Saturday, March 12-14.
 
Who's Competing?
The Eagles are sending eleven swimmers to the meet, including Marlee ChristieAbbey ClarkeMarianna FardellaMorgan Hofmeister, Nina Larosa, Emma LittrellTristen MinaLucy NobleNehir OzShayne Patrick, and Siporah Sang.
 
What Events?
Eight swimmers will represent Eastern in individual events: Christie (50y free, 100y free), Fardella (500y free, 1000y free, 1650y free, 200y back), Hofmeister (1000y free, 400y IM), LaRosa (50y breast, 100y breast, 200y breast), Littrell (100y free, 200y free), Mina (100y fly), Oz (1000y free, 1650y free), and Patrick (200y fly, 200y IM, 400y IM).

The 800y freestyle relay team members include Fardella, Oz, Patrick, and Hofmeister, while Christie, Clarke, Littrell, and Noble will compete in the 200y freestyle relay. Christie, LaRosa, Mina, and Sang will take on the 200y medley relay, and the team of Fardella, LaRosa, Littrell, and Mina will compete in the 400y medley relay.

Eastern earned five CSCAA A-Cuts and 19 B-Cuts throughout the season for the championship meet. The five A-Cuts include all four relays, and LaRosa's 50y breaststroke time.

Last Time at The CSCAA NIC
The Eagles also sent 11 swimmers to last season's championships, March 13-15. The team saw a total of five personal-best times and one season-best time, with all five personal bests coming from freshmen and sophomores, including LaRosa (50y breaststroke), Noble (100y breaststroke), Littrell (100y butterfly), Mina (50y butterfly), and Oz (1000y freestyle).  

Last Time Out Highlights
Eastern last competed at the MAC Championships, Feb. 25-28. Oz led the way for the swimmers, scoring 26 points and finishing sixth in both the 500y freestyle finals, and the 1650y freestyle finals. LaRosa earned a fourth-place finish in the 100y breaststroke finals, Azra Umut placed seventh in the 500y freestyle finals, Mina swam to a seventh-place finish in the 100y butterfly finals, and Christie finished eighth in the 100y freestyle finals.


Ohio Sends Swimmers to CSCAA National Invitational Championships
The Ohio swim and dive team is back in action for two events this week. First, three members of the Ohio diving squad head to Ypsilanti, Mich., March 9-11 for the 2026 NCAA Zone C Diving Championships. The three-day event is hosted by Eastern Michigan inside Jones Natatorium. The event begins on Monday, March 9, at 1 p.m. for the 1-meter dive. On Tuesday, March 10, the 3-meter event is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. ET, while the platform is scheduled for Wednesday, March 11, at 5:15 p.m. ET. All three days will be streamed on YouTube. Later in the week, the rest of the Ohio swimming and diving squad will return to action later this week at the 2026 CSCAA National Invitational, March 12-14 at the FAST Facility in Ocala, Fla. 

The full Ohio swim and dive team is coming off a second-place finish at the 2026 MAC Championships two weeks ago. The Bobcats saw junior Zita Szoke and senior Casadie DiBetta punch their tickets to the 2026 NCAA Championships next week in Georgia. Following the meet, Szoke and DiBetta earned First Team All-MAC honors, while freshman Juliette Daigneault, senior Emily Ellsworth, freshman Katrina Kollin, and junior Melanie Schweikert earned Second Team All-MAC honors.


Toledo Sends Swimmers to CSCAA National Invitational Championships
Women's Swimming & Diving begins postseason competition at the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) National Invitational Championship in Ocala, Fla. 12 Rockets will compete across various individual events, led by senior Janne Slegers and junior Leah Evans who were the team's top scorers at the 2026 MAC Championship meet. The team will also compete in three relay events, including the 200 freestyle relay, 400 freestyle relay and 200 medley relay.
