OLEAN, NY – The University at Buffalo men's tennis team (6-3) wrapped up weekend action with a 6-1 win at St. Bonaventure on Saturday afternoon.
The Bulls took the early lead as
Onder Balci and
Clement Mainguy cruised to a 6-0 win at third doubles and
Emiliano Jorquera and
Faiz Nasyam followed with a 6-4 win at the second position to clinch the doubles point and give UB a 1-0 lead in the match.
Balci continued his strong play in singles action as he won 6-3, 6-1 at second singles and
Michael Malkin rolled to a 6-0, 6-1 win at six singles. Jorquera also won in straight sets, winning 6-2, 6-2 at fourth singles, while Nasyam picked up a 6-0, 7-5 victory at fifth singles and
Minjae Kim overcame a dropped first set to win 3-6, 6-1, 6-3 at third singles.
Buffalo returns to action on Saturday, February 21, at Princeton.
