Swimmer of the Week
Samia Becdach, Bowling Green
Samia Becdach made school history Friday, swimming to a program-record 23-second finish in the 50 freestyle. With that performance, her 50.44 100 freestyle and 1:20.52 150 freestyle, the junior won all three of her events. Her 100 freestyle finish ranks sixth on BGSU’s all-time list.

Diver of the Week
Natalia Mayorga, Bowling Green
Natalia Mayorga won both events on the boards Friday afternoon, claiming both the one-meter dive and three-meter dive. The senior posted a 282.45 for the one-meter and a 309.83 score for the three-meter. Through two meets, Mayorga has already qualified for the NCAA Zone C Diving Championships in both events.
