Jared McGil, 184 lbs., Edinboro
McGill went 2-0 in MAC Dual action, defeating No. 27 Malachi DuVall of George Mason 6-3 in sudden victory. He followed that up on Saturday with a 15-0 tech fall over Rider's Giovanni Alejandro. 

Brock Zurawski, 197 lbs., Rider
With the MAC–Ivy Trophy on the line against Princeton, Rider trailed 19–11 with two bouts remaining. #22 Brock Zurawski provided the turning point, locking up a cradle and pinning Gabe Garibaldi in the second period to earn six critical team points. The pin cut the deficit to two and paved the way for a heavyweight victory that secured Rider’s thrilling 20–19 win.

Co-West Division Wrestler of the Week
Blake Schaffer, 197 lbs., Kent State
Blake Schaffer went 2-0 in a tough road trip against NIU and SIUE. Schaffer dominated his first match of the weekend against Dominic Heim (NIU) in an 18-2 TF. He also defeated Nick Nosler (SIUE) in a 4-2 decision to earn his 20th victory of the season.

Tommy Bennett, 174 lbs., Northern Illinois
Tommy Bennett had one of the biggest upsets of the dual between NIU and Ohio as he defeated Ohio's Garrett Thompson at 174 pounds. Bennett posted a 6-5 decision win over No. 13/10 Thompson, swinging the momentum in favor of the Huskies. Thompson claimed the early takedown before Bennett got a reversal, an escape, and a late takedown in the closing seconds. NIU would go on to win a close dual, battling to a 20-17 victory. This was Bennett's second win over a ranked opponent this season.
