Graduate student forward Jasmine Guerber came up big for the Bulls, recording a pair of game-winning goals to lead UB to a 2-0 record on the week. On Thursday, Guerber one-timed a shot bar down to lead the Bulls to a 2-1 win over Ball State. She followed that up with another game-winner in the 47th minute in a road win at Kent State on Sunday. Guerber leads the MAC assists (4) and shots (31) ranks third in points (12). She also leads the Bulls in those three categories while ranking second in goals (4).
Defensive Player of the Week
Mira Pierre-Webster, Western Michigan, Defender

Mira Pierre-Webster and the WMU defense were on top of their game, collecting two shutouts on the week to improve to 7-2-1 overall and 3-0-1 in MAC play. Against Ohio, Pierre-Webster and the Broncos limited the Bobcats to just two shots on goal. The defending MAC champions followed that up with another shutout against Toledo, limiting the Rockets to seven shots on net. She played the full 90 minutes in each match. Western Michigan has allowed just nine goals this season.
Goalkeeper of the Week
Dominique Popa, Miami, Goalkeeper

Dominique Popa recorded two shutouts this week, adding to her conference leading total of five (three in-conference). Popa had nine saves this week, her most in a two-game span this season, and moved into fourth place on Miami’s career shutouts list with 17.
