CLEVELAND, Ohio – Mark Uyl, a veteran umpire with more than 20 years of on-field experience as well as a background as an athletic administrator, has been named Coordinator of Baseball Umpires for the Mid-American Conference, as announced by the conference on Friday.

Uyl has spent 23 years as an umpire across multiple conferences, including the MAC, Big Ten, and American Conference.
