TALLAHASSEE, Fla - Toledo senior wide receiver Junior Vandeross III has been named to the Biletnikoff Award Watch List, the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation announced on Wednesday.
A native of Tampa, Fla., Vandeross is the only player from the Mid-American Conference to make the Biletnkoff watch list.
In 2024, Vandeross caught a team-high 85 passes for 957 yards and five touchdowns, earning First-Team All-MAC honors. He was named the Offensive MVP of the GameAbove Sports Bowl vs. Pittsburgh, setting career highs in receptions (12) and receiving yards (194) in the 48-46 six-OT victory over the Panthers.
The Biletnikoff Award recognizes college football most outstanding FBS receiver at any position. The semifinalists, finalists and winner are determined by the Biletnikoff Award National Selection Committee, a committee of 600 prominent college football journalists, commentators, announcers, former award winners and former receivers. The semifinalists will be announced on Nov. 17, the three finalists on Nov. 25 and the winner on Dec. 11 at The Home Depot College Football Awards.
