The Mid-American Conference (MAC) 2026 Football Kickoff takes center stage today at at Ford Field in Detroit, Mich. from 9:00 am ET/6:00 am PT to 1:30 pm ET/10:30 am PT.
The MAC Football Kickoff will open the 80
th season of MAC Football, which officially begins on Saturday, August 29th, and will conclude with the 2026 MAC Football Championship Game at Ford Field in Detroit on Saturday, December 5th at Noon ET/9 am PT (ESPN).

The Western Michigan Broncos have been selected as favorites to win both the regular season crown and Mid-American Conference (MAC) Football Championship Game title in the 2026 Football Head Coaches Preseason Poll. Head coaches were not allowed to vote for themselves in the poll.
