Offensive Player of the Week
Addie Chester, Ball State, Forward/Midfielder
Senior, Muncie, Ind. (Delta)
Chester scored first half goals in wins over Toledo and Bowling Green to help the Cardinals improve their winning streak to four in a row. The senior got the scoring started in the 27th minute of Thursday's 2-1 triumph over the Rockets off an assist from Tori Monaco. Chester tallied an unassisted goal in the 34th minute of Sunday's 1-0 decision at Bowling Green to increase her MAC-leading season totals to 10 goals and 24 points. She joined Avery Fenchel, who had 11 goals in both 2022 and 2023, as the only Cardinals in program history with multiple seasons of double-digit goals.
Defensive Player of the Week
Mira Pierre-Webster, Western Michigan, Defender
Redshirt Senior, Whitby, Ontario (All Saints Catholic)
Mira Pierre-Webster helped WMU to an undefeated weekend, showcasing her ability to impact the game on both ends. In a 1-0 win over Eastern Michigan, Pierre-Webster delivered the game-winning goal with under eight minutes to play. The goal was her first of the season. Pierre-Webster and the Bronco defense also limited EMU to three shots on goal. That was followed by a 4-1 victory over Kent State, where the Canadian defender helped Western Michigan's defense limit the KSU offense to three shots on goal. Pierre-Webster played the full 90 minutes in both matches. She is up to one goal and two assists on the season.
Goalkeeper of the Week
