Junior, Danbury, Conn. (Danbury)
On a 1-0-1 week, Caroline Dickson tallied two goals for four points, while adding six shots, including three on goal in 114 minutes. Against Buffalo, Dickson recorded her first career brace, notching both goals in the win for the Minutewomen to collect four points. The junior took a career-high five shots, placing three on goal. Defensive Player of the Week
Jordyn Klaasen, Ball State, Defender
Freshman, Zeeland, Mich. (Zeeland West)
Jordyn Klaasen scored her first career goal in Ball State's 1-0 win at Eastern Michigan on Thursday. The freshman defender found the back of the net off a corner kick to lead the Cardinals to the road triumph. Klaasen followed that up by leading a Ball State back line that limited Akron to only four shots in Sunday's 3-0 winning decision over the Zips. Eastern Michigan and Akron combined to take only 11 shots (four on goal) across the two games. Klaasen went the distance in both matches on the week, as she has in 11 of 14 contests as a true freshman.
Goalkeeper of the Week
Leah Nisenfeld, UMass, Goalkeeper
Redshirt Freshman, Reno, Nev. (Robert McQueen)
As the Minutewomen went 1-0-1 on the week, Leah Nisenfeld had a 0.00 goals-against-average and a 1.000 save percentage, while making eight saves in 180 minutes. Nisenfeld also earned her fifth and sixth shutouts of the season with a 2-0 win over Buffalo and a 0-0 tie with Eastern Michigan.
